I grew up the youngest of two older brothers and three boy cousins that stayed with us over the summers. This meant in street hockey I was always the goalie, in Jackpot I was always an outfielder, and in “deer hunter” I was always the (you guessed it) deer. This left me with a desire for my voice to be heard—as well as a couple bb gun welts.
With a high school career in competitive ice hockey behind me, I decided to pursue an undergraduate degree of Creative Writing at the University of Victoria, and eventually a Master of Science in Advertising at Boston University.
When I’m not browsing vinyls, hyperventilating over wiener dogs, or playing intramural sports, you can find me bulking up my Goodreads profile with some classic literature. Probably reading about some girl with a chip on her shoulder.
