I grew up in Northern Canada, the youngest of two brothers and three boy cousins. In street hockey I was the goalie. In Jackpot I was the outfielder. And in deer hunter I was (you guessed it) the deer. I learned early that if you can't control the game, you find creative ways to play it.

After years of competitive ice hockey, I earned a BFA at the University of Victoria and an M.S. in Advertising at Boston University. When I’m not flipping through vinyl or obsessing over wiener dogs, I’m usually bulking up my Goodreads profile with classic literature. Probably reading about some girl with a chip on her shoulder.
